We're a community volunteer group known as Chill and our mission is to promote fitness through walking and support mental health. We organise two weekly walking sessions every Wednesday and Friday evening, meeting at the same location.
We offer various routes to cater to different fitness levels, and our longest walk is about an hour and covers approximately 3 miles on fairly flat terrain. Each walk is led by our trained leaders, Chris and Mark, with assistance from our dedicated helper, Ronnie.
In addition to our regular walks, Chill also hosts various events throughout the month.
The Chill Carrickfergus Walking Group is a community-focused initiative that prioritises mental health through exercise and socialisation. Our group is open to everyone, regardless of age or ability level. We're a friendly and inclusive bunch of people who enjoy spending time in the beautiful outdoors of Carrickfergus.
Our aim is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can relax and unwind, meet new people, and make lasting friendships.
Come walk with us - we can't wait to meet you!
